BRD RedShift Electric Motocross Prototype

BRD has unveiled their latest prototype BRD RedShift Electric Motocross, which is a two-piece monocoque chassis partly painted in a blue finish and contrasted by an orange battery pack. The new electric concept bike will be released details and specs at the 68th EICMA in Milan, Italy this November.
The BRD RedShift Electric Motocross Prototype come with a weight of just 250 lbs and 5.2 kWh of battery pack on-board, BRD is estimating about a 50 mile range, based off other manufacturers’ claims. The battery can produce 40 horsepower and when combined with its svelte frame.
“We don’t want to sell vehicles based on guilt,” said Jeff Sand, Chief Design Officer. “We want to build vehicles that are the most desirable in their category even for enthusiasts. We’re committed to developing this bike until it can take on gas motocrossers on their home turf”
“We just want to make faster motorcycles,” said CEO Marc Fenigstein in the company’s press statement. “We’re a team of riders and racers with high-performance gas machines in the garage. We’re building the bikes we’d rather be riding.”
