British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has introduced new adventure touring bike that called “Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer”. The new motorcycle comes with a high-tech machine, with ride-by-wire throttle control, switchable anti-lock brakes, traction control and designed to go 10,000 miles between servicing – ideal for those long distance adventures.

The 2012 Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer is powered by new 1215cc three-cylinder engine that develops 137 hp and 121 Nm of torque. The new touring bike features a 20 litre fuel tank and rides on 19-inch (front) and 17-inch (rear) wheels. Adjustable 46mm front forks allow the rider to tailor the Tiger Explorer to their individual needs and riding conditions, with the longtravel suspension.

For accessories, The 2012 Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer includes two-box pannier system provides 60 litres of luggage space, while the top box offers a further 35 litres of capacity, enough for a full-face helmet. Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer brings 950w generator to facilitate the simultaneous running of multiple electrical accessories such as heated rider and pillion seats, heated grips and high power fog lights and also fitted with a power socket situated close to the ignition, which can be used to power a GPS unit or items of heated clothing. The 2012 Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer color is available three colour options : Sapphire Blue, Graphite and Phantom Black.
