MotoGP 2012 – Jorge Lorenzo Winner at Silverstone Circuit, England

The Yamaha Factory Racing rider, Jorge Lorenzo has won the sixth series of MotoGP 2012 which took place at Silverstone, England. Lorenzo, who started from fourth position but fought through the field before taking the lead from Casey Stoner at half-way. Stoner had to settle for finishing in second place and followed by his Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa in third.
Pole position starter Alvaro Bautista of San Carlo Honda Gresini took fourth and Lorenzo’s teammate Ben Spies rounded out the top five. Cal Crutchllow host driver who had been a doubt in the race because of a fall in free practice three managed to finish sixth defeat Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi could only finish in ninth behind Stefan Bradl.
