Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovisiozo MotoGP 2012 Podium at Assen Circuit

Repsol Honda Rider, Casey Stoner took a fantastic win in the seventh series of MotoGP 2012 race at TT Circuit Assen, Netherlands. Stoner had finished on the podium in the last five races at Assen, including winning the race in 2008 on a Ducati. Stoner’s Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa was second and Andrea Dovizioso of Italy overtook last year’s Assen winner, Ben Spies from Yamaha Factory Racing, on the final lap to claim third place.

Valentino Rossi had another terrible showing on the Ducati. Having chunked his rear tire around the halfway mark #46 pulled off the racing line, raised his hand and dropped back behind the CRT field. The nine-time world champion pulled into the pits for a new rear tire, but with all the attrition, The Doctor was only able to emerge and collect a point in 13th.
