MotoGP 2012 – Jorge Lorenzo Winner at Mugello Circuit, Italy

The Yamaha Factory Racing rider, Jorge Lorenzo won the Italian MotoGP 2012 at Mugello Circuit, which was a repeat success over victories in MotoGP 2011 on the same circuit and is his fifth victory of MotoGP 2012. These results make him stay on top the rider standings with 185 points. In position after Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, managed to collect 166 points in the overall standings,while Casey Stoner could only finish in the 8th position with total points 148.
The Italian rider, Andrea Dovizioso took third of round nine of the MotoGP 2012 ahead of Stefan Bradl, Valentino Rossi, Cal Crutchlow and Nicky Hayden, who all finished within two seconds of each other. In the day’s other races, Italian Andrea Iannone took first place in the Moto2 to cheer the home crowd, while Spain’s Maverick Vinales narrowly beat local boy Romano Fenati and Sandro Cortese in the Moto3.
